It all begins with an idea. The WSTCAA was grown from the single idea that all alumni are connected, and through this connection a community was built. Please help us continue to further this recovery community, and the mission of providing a supporting and engaging environment for those who have graduated from therapeutic courts in Washington.

Rising Above & Growing Together!

We have quarterly in-person meetings across Washington State to foster connection between the regions. There are monthly meetings via Zoom on the second Thursday of every month.

Helping counties and regions across Washington State create and maintain healthy, supportive, and continuous Alumni Associations in support of the Therapeutic Court Systems across our nation.

Assisting Alumni in reaching their long term goals and reveling in their successes. Assisting Alumni everywhere in supporting one another and creating a community of acceptance and recovery.

Joe Barsana- President
I graduated from Lewis County Drug Court in 2020, and since then I have been able to gain three college degrees, as well as raise a family. Everything I am is due to the therapeutic court systems in Washington State working their magic. I’m just extremely grateful for the opportunity to give back to the people who saved my life, and the program that woke me up.

MARJORIE DRIEU- TREASURER

I graduated from Lewis County Drug Court in 2020, and since then I have been able to gain a bachelors degree and am currently enrolled in a MSW program, buy a home, and begin my family. Everything I am is due to the therapeutic court systems in Washington State, and as I come up on 6 years in recovery I am thankful for where I am now and my prior struggles with addiction. My background is one that represents the unique struggles of domestic violence, abuse, trauma, parental addiction and incarceration, and childhood instability. I am lucky to be here, even more so to serve this great population and continue the magic that is alumni.
— Caitlin Goodeill, BAS, CPC, SUDPT
